FLIGHTS

Swakopmund is not served directly by international or regional airlines. To get to Swakopmund we advise flying into the international airport in the capital city of Windhoek (350 km east of Swakopmund) or the airport in Walvis Bay (50 km south of Swakopmund). From both airports ground transportation can be used to get to Swakopmund. Windhoek offers direct flights from Europe and Africa, and frequent flights from Johannesburg and Cape Town. Walvis Bay offers daily connections to/from Cape Town or Johannesburg only. Please note the below was current at the time of posting and subject the change. Please use as a guide only.

There are daily flights to Walvis Bay from Johannesburg and Cape Town operated by Airlink. Note there are no flights to Walvis Bay within Namibia, including from Windhoek.
