"I'm very pleased that many members of the School have shown their support for this important campaign for International Women's Day. Here at SoGE, we are committed to striving for a world that is diverse, equitable, and inclusive, from what we teach to what and how we research. Participating in IWD is just one part of that wide range of work."

Last year, the School was awarded Athena Swan Silver in recognition of the department's commitment to advancing gender equality.
