Academic Profile

Rosalie is a Short-term Research Associate of the School of Geography and the Environment. Previously she was a Research Assistant on the Coral Reef Resilience Project. She is currently focused on technological advances in marine monitoring and conservation, specifically tropical island reef systems. She is particularly interested in science communication and transdisciplinary approaches to conservation research.

Rosalie previously studied at Oxford for her undergraduate degree in Biological Sciences, during which she worked on domestic offshore fisheries management with Stanford's Center for Ocean Solutions and documenting mesophotic coral reefs with Nekton Mission. Rosalie represents for the British Ecological Society Conservation SIG and runs their "Conservation Careers Stories" interview series.
