Dr Nicholas Carter

As Access and Outreach Officer my primary focus is coordinating communications and activities with schools and prospective undergraduates for the School of Geography and the Environment. Our aim is to attract a greater diversity of applicants to our undergraduate programme, including more students from BAME backgrounds, areas of socio-economic disadvantage and state schools more broadly, by delivering outreach events that reflect the vibrancy, range and relevance of the School's teaching and research.

I combine this role with my teaching on the undergraduate Geography course at Christ Church College and carrying out biogeomorphological research with the department's OxRBL research group.
