I head the small team which provides support to colleagues with applications for research funding (including research contracts) and the subsequent award set-up and maintenance. I and the team - Vijaya and Hannah - also provide secretarial support to a number of School committee meetings. I hope I and the team can help to demystify funding opportunities, and ensure applications are made as competitive as possible and ready in good time for internal, Research Services and funder deadlines.

Prior to taking up this post, I was Research Facilitator in our near neighbour, Department of Earth Sciences. I held that post for 5+ years. And prior to that, I was a Senior European Officer in Research Services' European Team.
