Maryam is a first-year DPhil student at the Transport Studies Unit. She has recently completed an M.Sc. in Social Anthropology at the University of Edinburgh and holds an undergraduate degree in Architecture from Beaconhouse National University, Lahore, Pakistan. Previously, she has worked as an architect, visual researcher, and documentarian in Pakistan and the Gulf. Her doctoral research at TSU will focus on women's mobility within the context of platform-based gig economy models in Pakistan.
