Profile
Maryam is a second-year D.Phil. candidate at the Transport Studies Unit. She holds an M.Sc. in Social Anthropology from the University of Edinburgh and an undergraduate degree in Architecture from Beaconhouse National University, Lahore, Pakistan. Previously, she worked as an architect, visual researcher, and documentarian in Pakistan and the Gulf. Her doctoral research at the TSU focuses on the gendering of opportunities, exclusions, and inequalities that is facilitated by the representation, provision, and experience of different platform-based transport services in Lahore, Pakistan.
