On Friday 15 March Oxford schoolchildren, students and their supporters are taking part in the international #schoolstrikeforclimate day, gathering in Bonn Square 11am – 2pm. Researchers from the School of Geography and the Environment will be at the event, running a climate change science information table.

Anyone interested in the science behind climate change and the possible social, technical or economic policy responses to it will be able to chat to our scientists face-to-face and field their questions.

The team will collect together any questions from the public and - as well as answering them at the time (if they can) - will host the answers in a new FAQ section on the Environmental Change Institute’s website.

If you can’t make it to the #schoolstrikeforclimate, follow us on Instagram @oxford_geography to follow our stories throughout the day. Alternatively, send our academics your questions online – via facebook, twitter or instagram - using the hashtag #askSOGEanything.
