As part of this year's University alumni weekend, the School is hosting a talk on its largest ever research programme REACH: Improving Water Security for the Poor.

REACH: Improving Water Security for the Poor is an international partnership with UNICEF which aims to improve water security in Kenya, Ethiopia and Bangladesh, as a pilot for other regions of the world.

The talk will be given by Dr Katrina Charles, Co-Director of REACH: Improving Water Security for the Poor and Course Director for the Master of Science in Water Science, Policy and Management.

1pm - 2pm Alumni Lunch, SoGE, Herbertson Room

Following the "Improving water security for the poor" talk there will be an opportunity for SoGE alumni to meet and mingle at an informal lunch, from 1pm-2pm, in the School's Herbertson Room.

You do not need to attend the "Improving water security for the poor" talk to go to the lunch, but please book a place for the lunch (capacity 60 places, 5 donations at the door).

The School of Geography and the Environment is in the Oxford University Centre for the Environment / Dyson Perrins building, which can be found on the corner of Hinshelwood Road and South Park Road in the University Science Area.
